About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to lead our Softgoods team at Sport Chek. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and coaching your team, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a daily sales plan to drive sales growth and meet business objectives.
  • Coach and develop your team to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Build and maintain a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and collaboration.
  • Communicate effectively with the leadership team to drive business results and improve processes.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Proven track record of business growth and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in or involvement in sports or the sporting goods industry an asset.
