Job Summary:

Federated Co-operatives Limited is seeking a highly skilled Liquor Operations Manager to lead our business unit and drive success in the retail liquor industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction, overseeing operations, and ensuring the achievement of organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability
  • Lead and manage a team of retail liquor staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking of liquor products
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results and improve customer experiences
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to inform business decisions

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in retail management and leadership, preferably in the liquor industry
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive business decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, customers, and stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong knowledge of liquor industry regulations and standards
