Job Description

Job Title: Night Audit Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Night Audit Coordinator to join our team at Hostelling International Canada. As a Night Audit Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hostel's night shift, including conducting audits, managing cash, and maintaining a secure environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct nightly audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
  • Manage cash and credit card transactions, including reconciliations and deposits
  • Maintain a secure and safe environment for guests, including ensuring that all doors and windows are locked and secure
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests, including responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Work closely with the front desk team to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
