About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Shawarma Palace & Convenience. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and food safety.
  • Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of food items, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, handling customer inquiries, and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff members to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn new skills.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
