Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at Burger King. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
- Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that the kitchen is kept clean and free of clutter.
- Food Preparation: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, and assist with food preparation as needed.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Provide support to newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition, and assist with their integration into our team.
- Support for Youths: Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth, and provide guidance and support to help them develop their skills and confidence.
- Support for Indigenous People: Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations, and work to promote diversity and inclusion within our team.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, and be able to work effectively in a team to meet the needs of our customers.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
- Experience: Willingness to train and learn new skills.
- Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
