Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

BARBURRITO is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare budgets and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within our means.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns, providing a positive and welcoming experience for all.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning.
  • Prepare and submit reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high pressure.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, with the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Basic security clearance, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
