Food Service Manager

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Blend Kitchen + Bar. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining areas.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Inventory and Supply Management
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory levels.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform purchasing decisions.
- Customer Service
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Reporting and Administration
- Prepare and submit reports on kitchen operations, inventory, and customer feedback to inform management decisions.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or hospitality role.
- Personal Qualities
- Client focus and strong communication skills to ensure excellent customer service.
- Team player with a positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
