Job Title: Sr. Deskside Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Deskside Technical Support Specialist to join our team at S.i. Systems.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our clients, ensuring the smooth operation of their IT equipment and software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide desktop support for end-user computing, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Maintain and support audio-visual equipment in conference rooms, as well as provide additional audio/video requirements for events.
  • Offer printer support and ensure the proper functioning of printing equipment.
  • Install, test, and deploy Windows OS images to LM Canada systems.
  • Provide software installation and support services.
  • Ensure that IT practices are completed in accordance with LM Security practices.
  • Procure IT equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of computer hardware and other IT equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Bilingualism (English & French) is a must.
  • Prior experience delivering support in a Microsoft Windows (365) environment is required.
  • Experience supporting audio/visual equipment/software for use in conference rooms is essential.
  • Eligibility for secret clearance with the Federal Government is a requirement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Community college diploma (technician) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience providing IT support in a production environment (in addition to general office IT).
