About the Opportunity

Adecco Canada is excited to present a unique chance for a seasoned British Columbia Land Surveyor to join a leading firm in land surveying and geomatics services across Western Canada. Our client has been setting the industry standard for over a decade, working on a wide range of projects spanning residential, commercial, industrial, and energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities

As a British Columbia Land Surveyor with this leading firm, you'll be at the forefront of managing and executing land surveying projects that require a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting comprehensive land surveys for residential, commercial, industrial, and energy projects.
  • Performing boundary determinations, construction staking, and as-built surveys with precision.
  • Utilizing advanced surveying equipment and software for accurate data collection and analysis.
  • Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to meet project requirements and timelines.
  • Preparing detailed survey reports, maps, and drawings.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Participating in project planning, feasibility studies, and regulatory reporting.
  • Mentoring current articling students.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a professional Land Surveyor (BCLS) designation in British Columbia with a minimum of 5 years of land surveying experience. You should be proficient with modern surveying equipment and software, including GPS, total stations, and GIS applications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential. A valid driver's license and the willingness to travel to project sites as required are also necessary.
