The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 CAD, depending on experience.

Job Description

As a Cabin Crew Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our cabin crew members. Your primary responsibilities include motivating, informing, and coaching your team daily. You will contribute to promoting a professional, motivating, and pleasant work environment while upholding company standards and regulations.

You will be at the heart of our operations, supporting teams, detecting problems or irregularities, and proposing visionary solutions while keeping in mind the reality of our cabin crew members. You will be fully aware of daily operations and actively involved in continuous process improvement surrounding customer and employee experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the professional development of your flight attendant team.
  • Inspire confidence while developing a professional and individual connection with each team member.
  • Proactively give recognition.
  • Communicate constructive and authentic feedback to maintain a relationship of trust.
  • Accompany and contribute to the development of your team members to motivate them to reach and exceed expected performance levels through a constructive approach aligned with our company culture.
  • Investigate disciplinary/administrative cases, attend meetings, and take appropriate actions with Labour Relation Advisors.
  • Participate in hiring processes for cabin crew members.
  • Represent the employer on local committees (Health and Safety, Service, Uniform, etc.).
  • Conduct regular and sporadic operational visits to validate compliance with Canadian Aviation Regulations, occupational health and safety, and service standards.
  • Review and act on various reports (performance, attendance, expense reports, KPIs) for your flight attendant team.
  • Participate in emergency response plans and support operations and cabin crew in irregular/emergency situations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • College Diploma.
  • Minimum two years of experience in a leadership position.
  • Minimum three years of experience as a Flight Attendant.
  • Two years of experience in employee management/supervision in a unionized environment.
  • Ability and experience with Microsoft tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
  • Excellent oral and written English.
  • Flexible schedule and irregular hours are essential, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Will to travel internationally using a valid Canadian passport.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an airport restricted area identification card.
  • Successful completion of initial cabin crew training.
