About the Role
The Techo-Bloc Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Demand Planner to join our team. As a key member of our planning department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales forecasts that drive production and distribution planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop 12-month forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation using statistical methods;
- Analyze weekly data to identify anomalies and special events affecting forecasts;
- Collaborate with sales managers to gather information on product trends and competitor analysis;
- Maintain the monthly Sales and Operations Plan (S&OP) with company leaders to align sales objectives and identify external variables impacting forecasts;
- Assist in establishing minimum-maximum inventory targets and production capacity plans;
- Identify and resolve conflicts related to supply, demand, and capacity availability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, statistics, or related field;
- Minimum 4 years' experience in demand planning and analysis;
- Knowledge of statistics and forecasting;
- Experience with R, Python, and VBA (an asset);
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems;
- APICS - CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) is an asset;
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to deadlines;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
