Job Title: Community Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Community Support Worker to join our team at Spectrum Society for Community Living. As a Community Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting an individual with their daily needs and activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping, cleaning, and laundry.
  • Encourage physical activities such as going for walks, yoga, and dance.
  • Assist with crafts and support the individual to stay in touch with friends and family via Zoom, cards, phone calls, and visits.
Requirements:
  • Ability to motivate, encourage, and engage the interests of others.
  • Computer proficiency (email, Word, internet usage).
  • Sign Language is an asset, and training is provided.
Work Environment:

This is a temporary position to cover a maternity leave for 12 months, possibly up to 18 months. The work environment is in North Vancouver, and driving is not required.

We offer a competitive rate of pay, CSW: $23.50/hour to $25.75/hour, and a 3-month probation period. If you are a motivated and caring individual who is passionate about supporting others, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
