Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at JPC Services Inc. as a Site Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in various construction tasks, including loading and unloading materials, drilling and blasting rock, and performing routine maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload and transport construction materials
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
  • Assist in demolishing buildings
  • Perform routine maintenance work
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding workload. The job requires the ability to handle heavy loads and work at heights. The work site environment is outdoors, noisy, dusty, and hot.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate or diploma required
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle heavy loads
  • Ability to work at heights
