At Humber River Health, we are seeking a skilled Health Information Services Clerk to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Health Information Services Department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of patient health information.

Responsibilities:
  • Process and analyze patient health information, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize Meditech scanning software to efficiently manage patient records.
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and data exchange.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a health record department, preferably in an acute care facility.
  • Proficiency in Meditech scanning software and Terminal Digit Filing.
  • Excellent computer literacy and typing skills (40 wpm minimum).
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and analytical processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
