About the Role:

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to support G&F's overall Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function. As a key member of our finance team, you will perform a variety of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting tasks, ensuring financial performance is accurately and effectively monitored at different levels across the credit union.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Budget & Forecast: Supports (and leads where required) the annual budget process and business plan process. Collaborates with other Finance and relevant corporate teams to collect and synthesize budget data.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Conducts regular and ad-hoc financial reporting and analyses and supports leadership by providing appropriate recommendations. Conducts profitability analysis and monitors profitability on multiple dimensions of the business.
  • Financial Modeling: Assists with development and maintenance of financial models (e.g., Budget, project, business case models) to support G&F's strategic goals.
  • Special Projects & Collaboration: Contributes to the ongoing improvement of practices and processes to promote operational efficiency. Participates in and/or leads finance projects to support best-in-class solutions for Finance and FP&A activities, performance measurement, and portfolio analysis to support G&F's organizational goals.

What We Offer:

A competitive base salary, ranging from $95,000 to $130,000 per year, based on experience. An incentive bonus plan, flexible hybrid work environment, extended health care, dental coverage, and disability coverage. Favorable vacation benefits, RRSP with Employer contributions, and the option to contribute yourself.
