Retail Store Manager Job Description

At Petra Tires, we are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail service establishment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing staff, assigning duties, and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and control daily operations to meet sales targets and customer satisfaction.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including staffing, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Manage staff and assign duties to ensure efficient and effective operation of the store.
  • Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and potential sales volumes.
  • Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, ensuring high-quality products and competitive pricing.
  • Determine staffing requirements and recruit new staff as needed.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.

Requirements:

  • 5 years or more of experience in retail management or a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions quickly.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a retail service establishment, retail business, or retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre.
  • Work with a team of 3-4 people.
  • Use point of sale system and accounting software.

Security and Safety:

  • Driver's validity licence check.
