About the Role

Frostbite, Electronic Arts' proprietary game engine, is a cutting-edge platform that empowers creators to build incredible games. As a Senior Documentation Strategist, you will play a crucial role in creating a comprehensive learning experience for game creators across multiple studios.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop a Compelling Vision: Define a strategic plan for Frostbite's learning experiences that will quickly onboard new game creators and help experienced creators leverage new tools.
  2. Build Strategic Relationships: Foster trusting relationships with senior leaders within Frostbite, the CTO organization, and game team partners by presenting updates and results.
  3. Lead the Documentation Team: Set clear goals, provide coaching, and offer career development support to the Documentation team.
  4. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with Experience Design, Analytics, Technical Art, Communications, and other internal partners to improve learning resources and increase awareness of content updates.
  5. Improve Documentation Processes: Enhance documentation authoring, review, and maintenance processes.
  6. Scale Learning Resources: Encourage game teams to contribute to Frostbite's central documentation and leverage new technologies, such as AI.
Requirements
  1. 10+ years of experience in technical documentation, content strategy, learning design, education, or similar fields.
  2. 5+ years of experience leading teams, including working with remote team members across multiple time zones.
  3. Practical experience developing documentation or learning strategies and creating multi-year plans.
  4. Practical experience leading multi-year documentation projects.
  5. Practical experience establishing new documentation lifecycle management processes.
  6. Practical experience with planning, creating, and delivering presentations to senior leaders.
  7. Practical experience with enterprise content management systems, learning management systems, and frameworks for tying documentation and code.
