Senior Contract Administrator, Land Development

We are seeking a Senior Contract Administrator to join our Infrastructure department in our Hamilton / Kitchener / London areas. This position will be responsible for Contract Administration and Project Management tasks related to construction associated with earthworks, sewers, watermains, and roads for subdivision and site plan projects.
Key Responsibilities- Review Contract Documents and evaluate contractor performance
- Verify project deliverables and quality standards are achieved
- Maintain regular communication with clients regarding project status and site issues
- Assist and support regional business development initiatives
- Chair regular site meetings and prepare meeting minutes
- Manage Quality Assurance and measurements for payment certificates
- Oversee Change Requests and claims
- Manage responses to contractor's RFI's and clarification requests
- Prepare Engineering Certifications
- Engineering Diploma or Technology/Technical Degree from an accredited institution
- 10+ years in Contract Administration and Site Inspection
- Registered with PEO, or have your OACETT certification as an Engineering Technologist, is an asset
- Experience on small and large civil projects, with specific experience in mass earthworks, water mains, sewers, and road works project is required
- Experience supervising other staff members
- Strong business development and negotiation skills
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel), and other Windows and cloud-based computing applications
