Highly Skilled Anatomic Pathologist Wanted for Dynamic Hospital

Job DescriptionThis exciting role will contribute to the shared responsibility of ensuring health and safety policies are followed to provide a healthy environment for patients, staff, physicians, volunteers, and families. Key responsibilities include:
- Signing out a wide range of cases in Surgical Pathology, Cytopathology, and ideally also bone marrows, blood smears, and lymph nodes.
- Participating in rounds presentations, teaching, and collaborative clinical research.
- Maintaining a high standard of practice, including prompt delivery of services to match established key performance indicators and provincial metrics.
- Participating in quality assurance and quality improvement programs.
To be successful in this role, you must be a licensed physician, or eligible for licensure, in the province of Ontario; hold or be eligible for Royal College Certification in either Anatomic or General Pathology; and have (or be eligible for) an academic appointment with the Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto.
What We OfferAs a member of our team, you can expect a highly competitive total compensation package, including benefits, pension, and vacation pay. This is a full-time permanent position with a start date of April 1, 2025 (or earlier). Salary: $250,000 - $350,000 per year, based on experience.
