Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Prep Cook to join our culinary team at S+L Kitchen & Bar. As a Prep Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and cooking menu items to corporate specifications, maintaining food quality, and adhering to sanitation standards.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items to corporate specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Handle food and equipment while maintaining high standards of sanitation and hygiene.
  • Participate in daily cleaning and upkeep of the kitchen and surrounding areas.
  • Restock service stations and maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
Working Conditions
  • Hours and shifts may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience in a professional kitchen.
  • Food Safe, Level 1 certification.
  • First Aid Level 1 certification, preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
