About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Heating and Cooling Systems Mechanic to join our team at Season Makers Heating & Cooling Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating and cooling systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install and overhaul heating systems, install refrigeration systems, and install ventilation, air handling, and air conditioning systems.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot heating systems, troubleshoot ventilation, air handling, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems, and repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, or heat pump systems.
  • Customer Service: Provide customer service and ensure that all work is completed to the highest standard.
  • Preparation and Planning: Interpret blueprints or other instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation, measure and lay out reference points for installation, and prepare tenders and quotations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trade.
  • Work Environment: Noisy and outdoors work environment.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding work, requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, accuracy, flexibility, initiative, and reliability.
Work Conditions
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
