Estimator - Building Construction Specialist

VIVID 1 CONCEPTS LTD is seeking a skilled Estimator - Building Construction Specialist to join our team. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing estimates of labour and/or material costs, as well as advising on tendering procedures and analyzing tenders to recommend awards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction costs and be able to work closely with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure accurate estimates and timely project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
- Advise on tendering procedures
- Analyze tenders and recommend awards
- Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems
- Monitor and adjust contract expenditures
- Prepare and maintain directory of supplies and trade contractors
- Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors
Requirements:
- Membership in the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors
- Attention to detail
- Work Term: Permanent
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 32 hours per week
