About the Role

IT UNLOCK CONSULTING INC. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our Transmission and Distribution Lines team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing efficient and reliable transmission and distribution lines, leading a team of engineers and technicians, and ensuring project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team responsible for designing transmission and distribution lines.
  • Serve as a technical project leader or manager, ensuring project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Design and produce engineering documents for transmission and distribution line projects.
  • Prepare models using PLSCADD and PLSPOLE.
  • Design support structures and foundations for transmission and distribution lines.
  • Supervise inspections of existing lines and prepare reports.
  • Support and oversee the work of engineers, technicians, and drafters to ensure quality.
  • Prepare proposals, studies, cost estimates, reports, and plans and specifications.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in transmission and distribution lines.
  • Relevant structural engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in technical writing.
  • Knowledge of the PLSCADD suite of tools.
  • Membership in the Ordre des ing nieurs du Qu bec.
  • Asset: Bilingualism (English and French).
