About the RoleAs a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians in designing and delivering transmission and distribution line projects. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop innovative solutions to meet their requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of engineers and technicians in designing and delivering transmission and distribution line projects.
- Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Design and produce engineering documents for transmission and distribution line projects.
- Prepare models using PLSCADD and PLSPOLE.
- Design support structures and foundations for transmission and distribution lines.
- Supervise inspections of existing lines and prepare reports.
- Support and oversee the work of engineers, technicians, and drafters to ensure quality.
- Prepare proposals, studies, cost estimates, reports, and plans and specifications.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in transmission and distribution lines.
- Relevant structural engineering experience.
- Proficiency in technical writing.
- Knowledge of the PLSCADD suite of tools.
- Membership in the Ordre des ing nieurs du Qu bec.
- Asset: Bilingualism (English and French).
- Annual base salary (based on a 37.5 hour work week).
