Job Title: Child and Youth Care Team Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Youth Care Team Lead to join our team at the Yellowhead Youth Centre. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of treatment plans, supervising staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each client
  • Supervise and support a team of Child and Youth Care Workers to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to deliver effective interventions
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and achieve positive outcomes for clients
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in child and youth care and make recommendations for program improvements
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Child and Youth Care or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a campus-based care setting
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills
  • Strong knowledge of child and youth care principles and practices
Assets:
  • Experience working with Indigenous youth and families
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care and restorative practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
