Job Title: Network Administrator

About the Role:

IO Solutions Contact Center is seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our robust network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in research on network products, services, and standards for data centers.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and external support to build project plans to deliver corporate objectives.
  • Provide KPI reports, project updates, and team performance reviews to senior management.
  • Act as a point of escalation for the IT team and resolve unresolved issues in a timely manner.
  • Design, implement, and maintain the full network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi, and cybersecurity.
  • Support and maintain data center and cloud IP network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and IPsec.
  • Secure network access by segmenting the network into VLANs and ACLs.
  • Conduct vulnerability and penetration testing for corporate IT vulnerability assessments and remediate them on a priority basis.
  • Manage and support security systems for physical access control and video surveillance.
  • Manage active directory structures, GPO, user permissions, identity management, network file, and print services.
  • Provide tier II/III IT support for daily operational tasks.
  • Incident and change management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external advisors and vendors.
  • Manage inventory of all equipment, hardware, spare parts, and IT software licensing and distribution.
  • Preserve assets by implementing disaster recovery, backup procedures, and information security policy.

Requirements:

  • Degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a network administrator, including hands-on experience with network devices, Fortinet, and Cisco technologies.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve network issues efficiently, minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal performance.
  • Proficient in implementing and maintaining network security measures to safeguard against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
  • Hands-on experience in configuring and managing routers, switches, and other network devices.
  • Knowledge of wireless networking technologies and the ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot wireless networks.
  • Ability to create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Capacity to adapt to evolving technologies and industry best practices to ensure the network infrastructure remains cutting-edge and efficient.
  • Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze and resolve complex network and security issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Fortinet NSE, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or similar credentials are advantageous.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking concepts is a plus.
