We are seeking a Senior Health and Safety Strategist to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. This is a challenging role that requires a professional with experience in occupational health and safety management practices.

As a Senior Health and Safety Strategist, you will work closely with leaders and their teams to define and implement health and safety initiatives that align with business plans. Your primary focus will be on Strategy, Leadership Development, and Regulatory Compliance within our Business.

You will have the opportunity to analyze and interpret workplace injury data, identify areas of unacceptable risk, and develop corrective measures to incorporate into site-specific action plans. You will also promote health and safety critical priorities, collaborate with client groups to build a safety-first mindset, and conduct internal health and safety assessments to ensure risks are eliminated or controlled.

This is a full-time position with an estimated salary range of $80,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated knowledge in occupational health and safety management practices
  • Certified Registered Safety Profession (CRSP) or Canadian Health and Safety Consultant (CHSC) certification preferred
  • 5-7 years' experience in a related field
