Psychologist, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychologist to join our team in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at BC Children's Hospital. As a Psychologist in this role, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive psychological services to critically ill patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients and families
- Conduct comprehensive psychodiagnostic assessments and provide psychotherapeutic interventions
- Collaborate with the inter-disciplinary team to coordinate care and develop treatment plans
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
- Doctoral degree in child clinical psychology or a related field
- Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia
- Experience working with critically ill children and their families
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
