About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Live Well Health Care Giver. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Care: Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Health Monitoring: Take patients' blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report any changes to the healthcare team.
  • Meal Preparation: Serve meal trays and assist with feeding clients.
  • Mobility Assistance: Weigh, lift, turn, and position clients to ensure their safety and comfort.
  • First Aid: Administer first aid in emergency situations and provide basic life support.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
Work Environment

As a Personal Support Worker with Live Well Health Care Giver, you will work in a variety of settings, including clients' homes and community locations. You will be required to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
