About the Role
Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at qathet General Hospital in Powell River, BC. As a critical care nurse, you will provide emergency nursing care to clients/patients of all ages, working in a fast-paced environment with unpredictable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care to clients/patients of all ages, including critically ill patients with unpredictable outcomes.
- Work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team to enhance quality of life from the perspective of the client/family.
- Consult, confer, and collaborate with other healthcare providers to provide comprehensive care.
- Maintain and advance clinical competence through ongoing education and training.
- Participate in designated hospital committees and approved research projects as assigned.
