About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team at Bombardier Transportation GmbH. As a key member of our data science team, you will be responsible for developing and deploying AI/ML solutions that drive business value and improve our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and preprocess data from various sources, including SAP, Salesforce, and IoT devices.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis and feature engineering to extract new insights and generate business value.
  • Develop, train, validate, and monitor machine learning models to propel our Digital Portfolio and increase productivity.
  • Collaborate with data and MLOps engineers to ensure successful productionization of models.
  • Work with aircraft system engineers and technical specialists to develop a state-of-the-art Predictive Maintenance solution.
  • Conduct literature reviews and competitive intelligence on AI-powered digital products and services.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience developing AI/ML solutions in a business context with proven benefits.
  • Experience deploying big data analytics in the cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Experience supporting enterprise-grade MLOps pipelines.
  • Experience with time-series data, particularly telemetry data.
  • Experience with predictive maintenance and aircraft systems.
  • Proficiency in Python and its ecosystem of machine learning libraries.
  • Result-driven, open-minded, curious, autonomous, and enthusiastic.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French (asset).
