Job Title: Food Counter Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Travellers Restaurant. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate the point-of-sale system and process customer transactions
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers
  • Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables, chairs, and floors
  • Restock supplies and ingredients as needed
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer complaints in a professional manner
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a food service environment is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
