About the JobThis role offers a competitive salary in the range of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot, test, repair, perform preventative maintenance, and service CNC equipment related to all in-house manufacturing.
- Manage on-site installation, repair, and maintenance of the building and its property.
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions for all CNC and non-CNC manufacturing equipment.
- Produce detailed service reports and document processes.
- Operate vehicles and machinery in a safe manner, including lift trucks and cranes.
- Collaborate with technical teams and share information across the organization.
- Making appropriate recommendations and briefings on repairs, diagnostics, and equipment specifications as well as specifications for new equipment.
- Proven working experience as a Maintenance Technician.
- 3-5 years of experience in troubleshooting/repair of CNC machines highly desired.
- 433A Millwright license is an asset but not required.
- Experience in troubleshooting mechanical and minor electrical problems.
- Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations of engineering and installation drawings for buildings.
- MS Office skills, especially Excel and Word.
- Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
- Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
- Project management and supervision skills.
- Decision-making ability and leadership skills.
- Time management and organization skills.
- Must have own tools.
- Must have the ability to work off normal hours during equipment breakdown situations.
- Must be fluent in English – Reading and writing.
