About the Role

The Manager, Physical Security is a critical position within our Information Security department, responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the Physical Security Program to identify risks and implement necessary controls.

This includes:

  • ">
  • Managing physical security projects and serving as a Subject Matter Expert in all facets of physical security;">
  • Reviewing, measuring, reporting, and improving controls associated with physical security systems equipment, including Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and Video Surveillance systems;">
  • Knowledge and understanding of current security and risk standards and best practices associated with physical and environmental security controls, particularly ISO 27001;">
  • Designing, implementing, managing, and continually improving First National's physical security program by developing and maintaining physical security policies, standards, and procedures;">
  • Advising teams within First National on the design and implementation of effective physical security controls to protect data;">
  • Performing periodic physical security threat risk assessments for all company locations and associated co-location data centers;">
  • Developing a prioritized roadmap outlining steps and resources needed to remediate observations to keep risk within acceptable limits;">
  • Monitoring and performing periodic physical security controls compliance checks to protect sensitive data;">
  • Reviewing regulatory, legal, or compliance requirements related to physical security.">

    • Control monitoring and review of internal security risk assessments associated with the physical security program;">
    • Developing, documenting, and assessing measures, metrics, and internal controls.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">
  • ">
  • A Bachelor's degree (Graduate degree preferred);">
  • A minimum of 5 years of prior Physical Security Management experience;">
  • An Information Security designation or certification (such as ISO27001 or NIST CSF) is preferred;">
  • Foundational experience in developing and maintaining physical security policies, standards, processes, guidelines, procedures, and controls.">
