Job Summary

Cantex Distribution Inc is seeking a skilled Sewing Machine Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality textiles.

Responsibilities
  • Operate industrial sewing machines to produce a variety of textiles, including canvas and cotton or synthetic materials.
  • Set up and maintain sewing machines, including threading, tensioning, and lubricating.
  • Monitor and control the quality of produced textiles, ensuring they meet company standards.
  • Collaborate with other production team members to achieve production goals and deadlines.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and stand for long periods.
  • Reliability, accuracy, and organizational skills.
