About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Account Executive to join our team at Gartner. As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion within our major client accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Develop and execute account plans to increase customer satisfaction, retention, and account growth.
  • Quota Achievement: Meet or exceed quota of $800,000+ of contract value within a designated territory of major client accounts.
  • Sales Methodology: Master and consistently execute Gartner's sales methodology to drive sales success.
  • Account Planning and Territory Management: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of client needs, preferences, and business objectives to drive sales growth.
  • Forecast Accuracy: Maintain accurate and up-to-date forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Competitive Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Product and Service Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Gartner's products and services to effectively communicate value to clients.
Requirements
  • Experience: 8-15 years of experience in consultative sales, preferably in high technology (services, software, or consultative environment), with a proven track record of success in sales.
  • Skills: Strong intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Client Relationships: Proven experience building and maintaining excellent client relationships at the C-level within large enterprise organizations.
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree, desired.
