Job DescriptionThe Executive Chef will be responsible for the preparation and presentation of all food items, maintaining high standards of quality and consistency. They will also oversee the supervision of kitchen staff, manage inventory and ordering of supplies, and train new staff members in food preparation and handling procedures.
Requirements and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you should have:
- A secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant culinary experience.
- 1-6 months of experience in a similar position.
The Executive Chef will:
- Prepare complete meals or individual dishes and foods for customers.
- Ensure all food items meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to maintain efficient service.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Organize buffets and banquets, ensuring timely delivery of food items.
- Work closely with dietitians and chefs to prepare special meals for patients.
This permanent position offers:
- A competitive salary estimated at $50,000 per year, based on industry standards.
