Job Description

As an Ophthalmic Assistant, you will play a vital role in testing and examining patients by performing diagnostic, therapeutic and technical ophthalmic procedures. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in patient testing and examination procedures;
  • Performing diagnostic tests and interpreting results;
  • Preparing patients for examinations and procedures;
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports;

You will work closely with our experienced medical team to ensure that our patients receive the highest level of care.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate of Achievement in Ophthalmic Assisting;
  • Basic computer skills;
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;

You will also have a valid driver's license, where required.

About the Job

This is a full-time regular position at Pasqua Hospital in Regina, Saskatchewan. You will work 8 hour shifts, with no relief or float requirements. The ideal candidate will be motivated, organized, and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
