Job Title: Cardiovascular Specialist - Critical Care
Salary Range: $38,580 to $50,070 per year
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cardiovascular Specialist to join our team at Health Careers in Sask. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide safe and effective care to critically ill patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Conduct assessments, monitor patients' conditions, and intervene as necessary
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of recent critical care experience
- Advanced knowledge of right and left heart hemodynamics
- Ability to accurately map patient-specific coronary anatomy
- Experience with sterile technique and procedural skills
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time temporary position with a 1-year estimated up-to-date period. The ideal candidate will be able to work 8-hour shifts, with days and standby requirements.
