Job Summary

The Technology Support Analyst will provide ongoing support for information and communication technologies within the schools/offices of the Halifax Regional Centre for Education (HRCE). This role will work collaboratively with the School Technology team to develop and implement new classroom technologies and support tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for IT infrastructure and systems
  • Collaborate with the School Technology team to develop and implement new technologies
  • Work within an established framework to ensure schools receive a satisfactory level of service
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to school improvement in support of technology integration
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree or college diploma in computer science or information technology (IT)
  • Current A+ Certification or Network+ Certification
  • Valid Nova Scotia Drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle to travel to school locations
  • Minimum 1 year experience in IT technical service
  • Experience in a PP-12 educational setting considered an asset
