About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Operational Excellence Manager to lead our Central Improvement Team and drive sustainable results throughout our operations. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our business and develop your skills as a leader in improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of value-generating engagements to drive business excellence.
  • Lead the Central Improvement Team to deliver operating excellence in partnership with our operations.
  • Manage the team to drive sustainable and measurable results, and support the efforts of our operation-based continuous improvement teams.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and peers to develop novel solutions and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the team's portfolio of initiatives is implemented and sustained to deliver long-term business value.
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of professional experience in operations improvement, management consulting, process improvement, cost reduction, mining operations, or engineering.
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field. An MBA is considered an asset.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage third-party relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with comfort engaging with senior leaders and peers.
  • Solid understanding of mining industry fundamentals and experience with continuous improvement programs.
