We are seeking a skilled Food Service Counter Associate to join our team at Tim Horton's.

About the Role

As a Food Service Counter Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring that our guests have an exceptional experience when visiting our restaurant. This includes:

  • Preparation and presentation of food and beverages in accordance with our quality standards;
  • Processing transactions accurately and efficiently using our electronic cash register system;
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety protocols, and following proper food handling procedures;
  • Providing support to colleagues during peak periods or when needed.

This is an on-site role that requires physical presence and does not involve remote work. If you are a motivated and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Preparing and serving food and beverages to customers;
  • Managing cash and credit transactions, including processing payments and handling change;
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning equipment, and restocking supplies;
  • Assisting with inventory management and stock control.
Experience and Specialization

No prior experience is required, but previous experience in the food service industry would be considered an asset. We offer on-the-job training to ensure that you have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this role.

Equipment and Machinery Experience

You will have the opportunity to work with various equipment and machinery, including electronic cash registers and grills. Previous experience with these types of equipment is not necessary, as we provide comprehensive training.
