Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Director of Finance and collaborating with other departments to drive financial analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Finance Team, Decision Support, Clinical Information Services, and Leadership Team to provide financial analysis and reporting.
  • Support clinical programs and financial analysis, with a focus on quality improvement and process optimization.
  • Provide leadership and support to the Director of Finance and other team members.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, reports, and dashboards to support business decisions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry trends.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting and financial systems experience, preferably in a not-for-profit sector.
  • Intermediate to advanced level of knowledge in MS Office.
  • Hospital accounting and financial reporting/analysis experience is an asset.
  • OHRS (Ontario Healthcare Reporting System) knowledge is an asset.
  • Knowledge of MOHLTC funding framework, including HAPS & HSAA, and Health System Funding Reform is an asset.
  • Experience in using Meditech and/or Power BI is an asset.
  • Experience supervising staff would be an asset.
