Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Officer to join our team at Alberta Ltd. This is a permanent position that offers a competitive salary of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop policies to promote industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas.
  • Supervise a team of 5-10 people, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to excel in their roles.
  • Administer programs to support businesses, including developing venture capital sources and providing consulting services to government and other organizations.
  • Conduct market research, analyze data, and develop social and economic profiles of areas to encourage investment.
  • Prepare reports, research papers, and educational texts on business development topics.
  • Provide advice on procedures and requirements for government approval of development proposals.
  • Maintain a database of potential franchisees, real estate locations, and online buy/sell Internet sites.
  • Develop and implement business plans, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in business development or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
