Job Title: Medical Sonographer

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Sonographer to join our team at Shared Health Inc. As a Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations and providing high-quality images to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations using various modalities and techniques.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, taking into account individual needs and medical histories.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
  • Registration with the Canadian Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (CSDMS) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in diagnostic ultrasound, preferably in a hospital or medical facility setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret ultrasound images and provide accurate diagnoses.
