Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Emelia's Child Development Centre. The successful candidate will assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing activities that promote child development
  • Engage children in educational activities, such as storytelling, singing, and crafts
  • Observe and record children's progress, submitting written reports to early childhood educators or supervisors
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and challenges
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Child development assistant (ECE level 1) certification
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Dependability, flexibility, and reliability
  • Ability to work as part of a team
Working Conditions
  • 40 hours per week
  • English language required
