Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Education Assistant to join our team at Emelia's Child Development Centre. As an ECE Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our early childhood programs, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Engage children in activities that foster their curiosity and creativity, such as storytelling, singing, and arts and crafts.
  • Observe and record children's progress, providing valuable insights to early childhood educators and supervisors.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and challenges.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and reliability.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Child development assistant (ECE level 1) certification.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
