Job Title: Early Childhood Educator Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Emelia's Child Development Centre. As an Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our early childhood educators in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for children to grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, singing, and preparing crafts to encourage learning and exploration.
  • Observe and record children's progress, sharing observations with early childhood educators or supervisors as needed.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and any challenges that may arise.
Requirements:
  • Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1) certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:
  • 40 hours per week.
  • Permanent position.
  • English language required.
