As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing contractor pay, log sales, and marine data. Your expertise in accounting and financial operations will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage contractor pay, including data entry, contract management, and bi-monthly payments
  • Manage log sales invoicing and reconciliations
  • Prepare accruals and process payments related to stumpage and waste
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial entries
  • Manage marine data tracking and marine services invoicing
  • Process accounts receivable transactions
  • Assist with internal recurring reports and ad hoc reporting

Requirements:

  • Manufacturing or operational accounting experience
  • Post-secondary education in Accounting or Business
  • Forest industry experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively communicate with peers and other departments
