Job Title: Maintenance Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team at the Heritage Inn Hotel & Convention Centre in Pincher Creek, Alberta.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate all maintenance tasks within the hotel, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for guests and staff.
  • Carry out repairs on hotel equipment and buildings, maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Order and pick up materials as required, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Respond to guest concerns quickly and efficiently, providing excellent customer service.
  • Coordinate daily activities and schedules of all maintenance staff, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
  • Ensure cleanliness and chemical upkeep of the pool and hot tub, adhering to Provincial Health and Safety regulations.
  • Keep the maintenance shop organized and stocked, maintaining a safe and efficient workspace.
  • Inform the General Manager of all deficiencies that could result in issues, ensuring proactive problem-solving.
  • Attend department head meetings as required, contributing to the success of the hotel.
  • Establish and follow a schedule for weekly, monthly, and annual preventative maintenance, ensuring the hotel's facilities are well-maintained.

Requirements:

  • Minimum one year experience in a maintenance-related position, with a strong background in hotel maintenance.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and staff.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Availability for shift and weekend work, with the ability to work on call as required.
